“Run, Pharm Boy, Run!” is a short documentary profiling Charles Wickersham, pharmacist and ultrarunner, as he undertakes the San Francisco One Day race. The One Day is a 24 hour race run annually at Crissy Field next to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
Charles races in support of a charity called “Teens Run Modesto” which helps local teens learn and grow through training for a Marathon. For more information, please visit their website at:

Shot entirely on a Canon 5DmkII. Dual system sound recorded on a Zoom H4n and synced via Pluraleyes. All location audio & interviews used the H4n built-in mics, home interview miked with a Countryman B6. Edited in Final Cut Pro, color correction in Color.

I ran the Chicago Marathon on October 10, 2010 with an HD camera strapped to my head. I compiled this timelapse from the photos taken every two seconds throughout the journey. I did my best to hold my head steady during the entire run, but it was not easy!
